The ILCA/Laser fleet is a vibrant community embracing sailors of all ages, sizes and gender which reflects the popularity of this dinghy. Just come and cruise or if you prefer, race in this strict one design International Class which is available all over the world. If you want help to improve your skills, or just set up and tune your boat, join in with a number of laser sailors who sail on Saturdays. The best times to visit and see what goes on is on a Sunday or on a Wednesday evening during the light evenings of the summer. To find out more email the Fleet Captain at laserfc@grafham.org

The ILCA is without doubt, the most popular single handed dinghy ever with over 200,000 sold. It has three sail options, small, medium and large (ILCA 4, 6 and 7) (Previously known as 4.7, Radial & Standard) to deal with different crew weights, ages and weather conditions.

It’s ideal for a wide range of abilities; from near beginner to Olympic level sailor and is one of the strongest fleets at the club, both numerically and in terms of racing skills.

The Graham Water fleet offers sailing for both recreational sailors and keen racers and a Saturday morning clinic to help improve the skill levels of all fleet members. The ILCA is a very popular boat to sail at Grafham with over 100 boats in the club and Sunday turnouts of 20+ boats.

We sail on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays during the summer and Sundays throughout the year.
