Bar, Lounge and Catering

The Clubhouse has a bar and a large, comfortable lounge on the third floor (the ‘Top Deck’) with unrivalled views of the lake. This area is open to members and open meeting visitors at weekends, on summer Wednesdays and at other times when demand justifies it.

Cafe-style catering is provided in the ground-floor cafeteria area by our catering franchise Viking Catering on Saturdays and Sundays, and on Wednesday evenings in summer they serve a meal upstairs after racing.

Lisa and her team serve food and drinks in the ground floor cafe and après sail on summer Wednesday evenings in the top deck bar. Viking Catering is committed to providing high-quality food at reasonable prices. You may watch activities on the water, while enjoying fresh food and beverages under cover or – if the weather is clement – from the adjacent patio / picnic area.

The Lounge is available for private or corporate hire, including the bar and catering if required. It provides a superb facility for parties, conferences, training sessions etc. Please enquire at the office. Club members receive a 50% discount on the hire cost.
